TICKET INFORMATION

When will I receive my tickets?

Tickets are sent electronically within 24 hours of placing the order. Please:1. Check your junk mail. 2. If not received within 24 hours of booking and making payment contact [email protected]

Do I need to bring my ticket on the day?

Yes, you must produce a valid ticket either in printed form or on a digital device. Please make sure that the ticket includes the QR code to allow for easy registration.

Can I buy tickets on the day?

Sorry no it’s pre-purchased tickets ONLY. Those arriving without a ticket will be asked to leave.

I have a ticket but I am no longer able to attend. Can I get a refund or transfer my ticket to someone else?

Once tickets have been issued unfortunately we’re unable to offer refunds, and they cannot be transferred to another person.

I am coming for the day in my car (not camping) do I need a car supplement?

If you’re coming on a day ticket you do not require a car supplement in addition.

Are there any age restrictions for entry into the event?

Children under the age of 16 are not charged for entry and are not required to purchase a ticket. Those aged 16 or 17 can only buy a ticket with their parent’s or guardian’s consent, unless the ticket is purchased for them by their parent or guardian. Can I volunteer?

We’re always happy to hear from you, but volunteer opportunities are extremely limited.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome at the ABR Festival however, Ragley Hall has the restrictions that they must be on a lead at all times and they are not allowed in the Hall or the Gardens of the Estate. Due to potentially dangerous algae blooms no dogs are allowed to swim in the lake.

Are children allowed at the Festival?

Yes, under 16s are free and are allowed at the Festival but please bear in mind that the ABR Festival caters predominantly for adult motorcyclists so although children are welcome we do ask that under 16s are supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

I am bringing a camper van. Do I need a supplement as well as the Festival ticket?

Yes, you will need to add a Camper Van supplement (£29.00) when you purchase your ticket.

I am coming in a car but I am camping. Do I need a supplement?

Yes, you will need to add a Car and Trailer supplement (£29.00) when you purchase your ticket.

Do I need to bring a motorbike licence?

Yes you will need a valid motorbike licence to do test rides, trials riding, off road training and to ride the Bridgestone and TRF Trails.

Can I ride at the Festival on a learner licence?
You can ride to the festival on a learners licence, but unfortunately it’s fully road legal bikes and riders only on any of the on-site trails. No L plates, learner or provisional licences will be allowed on the trails.
Can I test ride bikes using an International licence?
This is at each manufacturer’s discretion as they all manage their own test rides; some will accept an international licence but others may not.
Do all bikes have to be road-legal?

Yes, all bikes ridden at the Festival, including on the adventure trail, must be road legal.

Do I need to bring anything with me to do test rides and taster session?

Yes – you’ll need your motorbike licence (some manufacturers will accept international licences) AND you will need either your national insurance number or DVLA check code which you can get from here: https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence . The code is valid for 21 days so create within 21 days of the festival. In addition you will need to have appropriate riding kit (full-face motorcycle helmet, armoured motorcycle jacket, armoured motorcycle trousers, protective motorcycle gloves and motorcycle boots).

Can I come to the Festival on a quad bike?
Yes, providing it’s road legal. However, only motorbikes are allowed on the Bridgestone and TRF Trails.
Can I bring a pillion on my bike?
Yes, providing your pillion has a valid ticket for entry that’s absolutely fine. Pillion riding is not permitted on the Bridgestone or TRF Trails or Off Road Training Zone however there are plenty of superb road rides from the venue.
Do I need to purchase a Trail Access Ticket to ride the trail?
You will need to purchase a Trail Access Ticket if you wish to ride the trail. This is because with a planned increase in the number of riders at the 2023 festival, Ragley Hall have asked that we set a limit on the number of riders who can use the on-site trails to limit environmental damage. In order to administer numbers and carry out reclamation and restoration work after the event, to ride the trails you will need to purchase a ‘Trail Access Ticket’ for £15.
Will I be able to charge my electric bike at the festival?
Yes, a complimentary bike charging station will be available courtesy of Car Charged UK.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

What time does the Festival start and finish?

Gates open Friday morning 28th June 2024 at 9.00 am and the Festival finishes 4.00pm Sunday 30th June 2024. All ticket holders to have vacated the site by 5.00pm Sunday 30th June. VIP ticket holders ONLY have access to the festival from 9.00am Thursday 27th June 2024.

What time can I arrive? Can I check in at any time?

If you’re camping, or just coming for one day, you can arrive any time between: 9.00am – 21.30pm on Friday 28th or Saturday 29th June 2024. VIP ticket holders ONLY have access to the festival from 9.00am Thursday 27th June 2024.

When can I leave?

Gates are open between the hours of: 9.00am – 11.00pm on Friday 28th and Saturday 30th June 2024 or 9.00am – 5.00pm on Sunday 30th June 2024. All campers must have left the site by 5.00pm Sunday 30th June 2024.

Can I arrive on Saturday instead of the Friday?

Yes, as long as you arrive between the hours of 9.00am and 9.30pm that’s absolutely fine. Please be aware that camping tickets are the same price regardless.

WHAT’S ON

Which bike manufacturers/new bikes will be there to test?

A full list of manufacturers attending the 2024 Adventure Bike Rider Festival will be available before the event, in 2023 there were over 100 different models available for test rides.

When/how can I book bike tests and ride outs?

You can book bike tests and ride outs on the day at the relevant stand.

Can I get my tyres changed at the Festival?
There is tyre repair and very limited tyre changing available at the event. We highly recommend off road tyres for all off road riding and arriving with your preferred off road tyres already fitted.
What entertainment is on?
There are live bands from 1pm Friday and Saturday as well as speakers and live interviews during Friday and Saturday day time. For VIP ticket holders ONLY there is also live music on the Thursday evening.
If I have an overseas bike licence, will I still be able to do manufacturer test rides?
Since Brexit some manufacturers have individual policies in place, so it is best to have an international licence with you.
What food facilities?
Street food, catering stalls and refreshments will be available on site.

FOOD AND DRINK

When is food available?

Food will be available on site from 7.00 am in the morning through to 11.00pm in the evening.

Will there be vegetarian and vegan food?

Yes there will be. 

Is there a supermarket nearby?

Yes there is a Waitrose in Alcester (approx. 2 miles) which is open from 8.00am – 8.00 pm daily. There is a 24 hour Tesco in Redditch (approx. 8 miles) and Stratford Upon Avon (approx. 9 miles).

Can I bring my own alcohol?
Yes you can bring your own alcohol. Please be aware there is a Challenge 25 policy in place and drink driving rules still apply, including whilst within the event venue itself. Please be aware that the venue has a no glass policy and glass containers and drinking vessels will be removed and held by security until after the event.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Yes you can bring your own food and drink. There is a supermarket near by, and we will also have plenty of food and drink vendors on site. Please be aware that the venue has a no glass policy and glass containers and drinking vessels will be removed and held by security until after the event.

CAMPING QUESTIONS

Are there showers, toilets, water supply, electrical supply on the site?

Yes there are fully attended and serviced toilet trailers on site. Toilets will be attended from 7.00am until 10:00pm daily and serviced regularly so you can be sure that they are always clean, fresh and in working order.

Fully serviced hot showers are also available. Electrical hook up is not possible for individuals unfortunately. Drinking water is also available in the camping fields.

What can I camp in?

You can bring your own tents, caravans, motorhomes or campervans. Glamping bell tents and standard tents are also available (pre-booking required). For standard pre-pitched tents from Z-I-P, plus camping accessories, you can see what’s available and book HERE. For glamping bell tents click HERE.

Are generators allowed?

Due to potential noise disturbance we are unable to permit private generators on site.

Can I have a camp fire or fire pit?

Unfortunately due to potential fire risks the venue are unable to allow private fire pits or camp fires.

Can I bring a gas camping stove?
Yes gas camping stoves are permitted unless it’s particularly dry. Please use gas camping stoves outside only and must be raised off of the ground.
Can I bring my own BBQ?
Unfortunately due to fire risks you’re unable to have your own fires or BBQs. Camping gas stoves are permitted unless it is particularly dry.
Can I bring a bicycle?

Please be aware that there will be a strict one way traffic system in place at all times. It might be easier not to bring a push bike due to the traffic restrictions in place.

Can I come for the weekend and not camp?

Yes absolutely. There plenty of local hotels available. The Arrow Mill Hotel (01789 762419) and Travelodge (0870 984 6107) are both within 1 mile of Ragley Hall. For a full list of local accommodation please click HERE.

Where’s the nearest petrol station?

There is a Gulf petrol station within 1 mile of Ragley Hall in Alcester which is open from 6.00am – 10pm Monday to Friday and 7.00am – 10.00pm Saturday and Sunday. There is also a Mace shop attached. There is a 24-hour BP petrol station at the Oversley Mill Service Station, which is 1 mile from Ragley Hall.

Is there a local taxi firm?

Yes 24×7 Taxis are based locally and their phone number is 01789 444 444 or 01789 444 222.

Is there any secure storage or locker facility available?
Due to lack of demand in previous years, this isn’t something that will be running at the 2024 event.

Can I bring a hammock?
No, unfortunately hammocks are not permitted in the grounds of Ragley Hall.
Will there be chemical toilet waste disposal points in the campsites?
Yes, each campsite will have elsan points to dispose of chemical toilet waste.

ON-SITE MEDICAL, BIKE RESCUE & SECURITY SERVICES

Are there on site medics?
Yes, there is a team of fully qualified on-site paramedics/medics working at the festival based in the medical tent in the ABR Arena.
What happens if I have an accident when riding the adventure trail?
Accident procedure is discussed HERE. If you are unfortunate enough to suffer injury, then fully qualified paramedics will be riding the trail so you will receive medical help as soon as possible. Alternatively, medics can be despatched from the medical tent to assess your injuries on location and may transport you back to the medical tent in a 4WD vehicle or onsite ambulance.
Is there an ambulance on site?
Yes, there is an ambulance on site available for patient care and a second ambulance on site which is also available for transportation to hospital for urgent/ life threatening cases.
What happens if I need to go to hospital?
If you sustain an injury for any reason and require hospital care there is an onsite ambulance which can transport from the event to hospital, however injuries are assessed on an urgency basis, so transportation is not guaranteed. It may be a case of arranging own transport or waiting for an NHS ambulance.
What happens if my bike gets seriously damaged when riding the trail?
If your bike is un-rideable then there is a trail bike rescue service provided which will take your bike back to the Information point in the ABR Arena. It can wait there for collection and ABR staff will assist as much as possible, although it is your responsibility to organise breakdown recovery for your bike. If break down recovery doesn’t happen before ABR has vacated the venue, ABR staff will arrange transportation of your bike to the local ABR offices where it can be kept securely until collected.
What happens to my stuff if I’m in hospital?
Any clothing medical staff remove will be left with ABR staff and they will await instructions from yourself or a member of your party in regards to it’s collection. Any camping gear can be removed by your party and if ABR staff are required to help with storage or collection they will do so.
Is there on-site security?
Yes, there is a security team operating 24/7 during live event including dog team patrols, although it is still recommended that all equipment, vehicles and personal items are kept secure for the duration of the event.
