Back in May, Paddy Tyson and Nathan ‘the postie’ Millward wowed the packed-out audience at the first of our ABR Nights, sharing their inspiring and at times, humorous tales of epic adventures from Australia to the Americas. At the second ABR Nights, best-selling author Sam Manicom and adventure rider Norman Magowan delighted yet another crowd at the Riverbank Restaurant with sensational stories of their trips from Africa to the Americas.

Next week, the third ABR Night will be graced by none other than Ted Simon, who in late 1973, began travelling around the world on a 500cc Triumph Tiger 100 motorcycle. For four years he travelled over 64,000 miles through 45 countries. Most accounts from his trip are detailed in his famous books Jupiter’s Travels and Riding High.

Dutch world traveller Sjaak Lucassen will also be speaking at the event

Ted will be followed by world traveller, Sjaak Lucassen who hails from the Netherlands and has travelled most of the world on two wheels. Among his greatest achievements are a five-year 150,000 mile round the world trip aboard a 2001 Yamaha R1. Sjaak has just finished writing his book Life on 2 Wheels, which was inspired by people asking him about his travels and he’ll be sharing some of these stories at ABR Nights 3.

So don’t miss out on this night of spectacular adventure inspiration. Come down to ABR Nights 3 at the Riverbank Restaurant and Bar, Stratford upon Avon, on Wednesday 11 July 2012 at 7.30pm. Following the sell-out success of the first and second ABR Nights, early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. Drinks and refreshments will be available. Family and friends are welcome. There is also ample parking.

Tickets are £8 in advance and £10 on the door.
