BMW announces sponsorship of women’s motorcycle ride across America

BMW Motorrad USA has announced its sponsorship of the Sisters’ Centennial Motorcycle Ride, a ride across America commemorating 100 years since Adeline and Augusta Van Buren achieved the feat themselves.

Back in 1916 the Van Buren sisters became the first women to ride across America with their 5,500-mile ride taking 60 days and now, a century later, the journey is to be recreated.

Wolf launch revamped motorcycle clothing range

In an effort to re-establish the brand name in the hearts and minds of UK riders, Wolf has revealed a completely revamped and re-imagined motorcycle clothing range.

The new range, which was revealed last week at Donington Hall, comprises of six models of jackets, five trousers, four pairs of gloves, and a single leather one-piece suit, with products to satisfy nearly every niche of the biking world, from retro café racers, to high-end performance machines. But it's the textile models, which occupy roughly half of Wolf's new range, that will be of most interest to adventure bike riders.
