The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer has announced a series of new colour schemes for its 2016 models including the mid-range Kawasaki Versys 650.

So, we’re rounding up some of the best posts to offer a glimpse into what’s going on and fuel the ongoing debates. Save weight and upgrade your bike's looks with the Diablo Mini Exhaust
Written by Bryn

One of the main grievances we all have with modern day adventure bikes is usually concerning how much they weigh. With many motorcycles weighing upwards of 200kg, we can't really be blamed for wanting to shave weight off of bikes. At the same time, not all manufacturers get the looks right and while a machine may be great on the inside, it can sometimes lack the looks to wow people. Well, that's where the Diablo Mini Exhaust is supposed to help out.

The Diablo is an aesthetically pleasing exhaust from UK based manufacturers, Fuel Exhausts and we managed to get our hands on the version for the KTM 1190 Adventure. All of the company’s products are designed and manufactured in their factory in the Lake District where there’s an emphasis on providing quality, easy to fit kit.

10 old motorcycle adverts that will make you smile
Written by Bryn
There's something about old motorcycle adverts that, despite the blatant sexism and disregard for political correctness, just makes you smile. Perhaps it's the nostalgia, perhaps it's the fact that these bikes have now taken a place in history or, perhaps it's that same carefree disregard that leaves you looking at them and thinking 'I can't believe they were allowed to print that!'. With that in mind we've compiled a list of 10 of our favourite old motorcycle advertisements for you to see, from Harley Davidson's 'adventure bike' poster, to Bultaco's good manners, and a touch of wildness. Enjoy!

Filtering is legal and it's time people learn that fact
Written by Rob Slade

How many times have you been trying to filter through queued traffic only to find other cars blocking your way? Many drivers are accommodating to bikers on the roads but there are those who are downright frustrating.

There have been times when we’ve been filtering through traffic only to find a car has moved over to block the path as if what we were doing was wrong. But the thing is, it’s not wrong. It’s actually our right by law.

That’s why we’ve put together this post. To have vent a little, yes, but most importantly our aim is to spread the word so that motorcyclists know it’s within their rights, and other motorists know that it is absolutely legal and acceptable for us to do so.

ABR's weekend ride: The challenging Hardknott Pass
Written by Rob Slade

This week's installment of ABR's weekend ride features a popular but challenging one. The Hardknott Pass. Located in the heart of the Lake District, the Hardknott Pass is one of the more taxing rides which is both down to the road, the traffic and the odd stray sheep. It is one of the steepest roads in Britain, is narrow and has countless corners. But it's great fun. Click 'read more' to get the details.

Although a lot of you may not be able to escape work or the family this summer for a big two-wheeled adventure of your own, that doesn't mean it shouldn't feature in your life at all. We've compiled a list of six books that are essential reading for any adventure bike rider.

Watch: Robbie Maddison goes surfing... on a KTM
Written by Rob Slade

Drop what you're doing, we've got some serious business to attend to. Well, perhaps not business as such, but we do have a seriously crazy video for you to watch. In a move that trumps any water crossing any of us have ever done, Robbie Maddison has gone surfing on a KTM, literally.

The stunt takes place on the island of Tahiti and shows Maddison cruising through the jungle on his dirt bike before hitting the water in style. This is when things get really awesome as he rides the world famous waves at Teahupoo and Papara. We agree it's quite hard to believe, but it actually happened, and it's amazing.
