ABR to ride 66 cities in 12 days
Written by Abeer

“The idea came about because I was looking for an opportunity to really challenge my biking skills and stamina without the need for support teams and thousands of pounds,” he says. But with the longest trip he's completed so far being a two-week jaunt to the south of France, how's Mark feeling about this particular ride?

“I am nervous about the day-in day-out riding with deadlines, but equally excited about spending 12 days on my trustee 1200 Suzuki Bandit, which has been in the family for five years now.”  He adds, “I'll definitely be investing in an Airhawk to save my poor rear!”

All funds raised will go to The Cystic Fibrosis Trust, a charity close to Mark's heart, whose cousin's daughter is a sufferer. “The trust is close to significant breakthroughs in the treatment of this disease, but in urgent need of sufficient funds,” he says.

Mark's eager for fellow ABRs to join him for a leg of the journey. If you'd like to take part in this ride-out for a good cause, email Mark at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  You can also donate at www.justgiving.com/mark-hackeson

66 cities????
hackmusic
Thanks your majesty. She has just announced 3 new cities yesterday. Perth, Chelmsford and St Asaph! Not liking the sound of ROUTE 69 very much!
