Written by Rob Slade

It's time to look back at the past week's activity on the ABR forum. Have a quick browse and you'll find various threads scattered about debating current affairs and, happily, plenty of bike-focused threads.

Among the highlights are questions about weekend routes near Manchester, dealing with neck ache and a debate about what you consider to be an acceptable markup on an organised motorcycle tour. Can you help anyone out?

On the ABR forum: The ideal first adventure bike for under £2,000?
Written by Rob Slade

The fallout from Brexit continues to rumble on among users of the ABR forum, as does the response to the fantastic quarter-final performance by Wales. Of course, among all of that was also plenty of bike and travel-related chat, and as ever, there are plenty of bikers looking for advice.

Among the threads over the past week were questions about helmet cameras, touring in Wales and what would make an ideal first bike under £2,000. Can you help anyone out?

This biker got the perfect revenge on a driver that cut him up
Written by Rob Slade

This biker was riding along minding his own business when a car cuts him up and attempts to merge into the space that he is occupying.

Remarkably, the driver doesn’t even seem to notice he is there and proceeds to move over into his lane forcing him to sound his horn and take avoiding action. Fortunately, the motorcyclist is able to deliver a large dose of karma almost instantaneously...

Written by Rob Slade

With Brexit coming to a head last week, the ABR forum has been awash with activity as people flock to the 'EU in, out' thread to make their thoughts known.

Away from that, there have also been queries on waterproof jackets, local routes in the West Midlands and which is the best bit for a new rider. Can you help anyone out?
