4600 mile ride in 10 days through UK, Holland, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece,Italy, & France. Stu, did the whole route from home in Manchester to back home in 10 days. Long days, mostly pitching tents late in the night. I'd have much preferred to take 3 or 4 weeks to really soak it all up, but 10 days was all we both had to spare, so it sure made for an intensive trip full of adventures. There's absolutely nothing to be concerned about in the western balkans. Not rough at all. Albania had its moments, many of them, but turned out to be the highlight of the trip....

 Mate, that was a great little video, how was Croatia and Albania? any nervous moments? i did 6 months in Kosovo in 2000/2001 when i was in the Marines, so i'm all to aware how rough that part of the world can be sometimes, but beautiful nonetheless, you did well to get through all them places in 10 days, does that include getting back to the UK or just to Italy?..Stu

I hear you on the Tirana bit, I spent 18 months living and working there and rode my Harley Ultra. With a hi vis vest on they thought i was the law so i escaped danger, mostly :-)

James, in a perfect world, we'd have done the same, but for time constraints we ended up getting the boat to italy. If you're planning the transfagarrasan highway in Romania, check it's open as I've a feeling April will be too soon. I'd have loved to spend more time in Albania, also due to snow the national parks in Montenegro, these beautiful areas were a no go zone on our trip unfortunately....

 Fantastic report lads! Loved it and looking at the route I will be taking in April it was a great help indeed. I will be heading up from Greece past Romania and into Moldova so if you have any footage of that please let me know. If not then I will run mine IF I get back ;)
