Ha ha yes that's the one. The shaily hill is the worst part of it, I've done it two up with my missus on my 950 Adventure. But if folk don't want to have a go, (it's not that difficult) there are roads into Hawes.

Littrally I was going to put a post up about a ride out on Sat the 26th but the Sun is no problem, count me in. :laugh:
I also had the idea of meeting up at squires and going from there.

Best to avoid Squires on Saturday mornings as the York IAM group meet there & it would be easy to get caught up in the different groups of riders on the road.

Where was everyone thinking of heading to?

Depart Squires 11.30am aiming to return by 4pm - perhaps 100-150 miles.
I know a few nice cafés in both directions so will create a bit of twisty B & C route - how does that sound?
Destination - east or west = weather dependent
