PS it also gets below zero here in spain in the winter in the mountains where i live and i still camp out with just an army sleeping bag and a tarp

Mustve done some mileage riding every day of the year, fair play to you.

I personally ride in the winter but will never enjoy riding in the wet, its shit.

Thanks for all of the positive replies peeps.

I'm gonna try to stop analysing it, forget the bike for a bit and hopefully it'll pass.

Have any of you ever 'lost your way' with motorcycling?

I've had no interest or incentive to go out on my bike for about 3 weeks now, but I don't know why.

Is this just a blip or is my biking hobby over?

I'm a bit worried tbh as I don't want it to be, I know that sounds stupid but that's why I'm seeking advice.

It's not the bike as I've waited a long time for what I've got, spent lots on it and love it.

This bike has given me the ability to big miles and to do a bit of greenlaning but there is still something that's gone.

Any ideas?

I'm on the way down to pick your bike so I can erm store it for you cheers Spud

Take a break

Put it in the back of the garage, with a sheet over it

SORN it

Do something else for a while, go watch some bike sport if you fancy it

When your MOJO returns, dust off the bike and ride

I'm lucky because I alternate between riding Trials (good therapy), some Trailriding and then some road/adventure Touring - so rarely get bored and if I do get bored of one facet of biking, I switch to another

Hi Jelly. My advise is this. pack a tent, book the ferry or euro tunnel ask a mate to come along for company and bugger off for a few days in France or Spain but don't forget to ave copious amounts of red medicine while cooking on your camp stove.
after doing this for the said few days you will be cured, Then when you return home you will busy with planing your next trip.
Hope this helps.
Works for me.
