It was fairly clear they had targeted it at that point to as there where numerous laybys earlier on the road but non that had no escape roads prior and within sight.

For the tailback that was supposed to be caused...by a go-slow in the inside lane only...they claimed it caused a risk of accident to other traffic....where as bringing traffic to a complete stop didnt?

Bullying...nothing else to describe it...Cambs win the award for t####rs of the day.

In other areas...where the demo took up more than one lane (fairly poor behaviour in my book) the Police took control by 'guiding' the traffic and the demo. Much more sensible approach.
