T shirts have arrived, should be at Donnington services for 12 on Sunday.
Your fast becoming our local hero Kev! Beers on us next time we meet! Look out for the guys from Excalibur MCC who have said they will act as back markers - they are hoping to be there for 12:30 and one will have some MAG membership forms as well ... if he isn't too hung over

I'm a bit concerned that, in some areas, we might be spreading ourselves a bit thin. I had a look on the MAG web site for the start points for the demo in my area, Ipswich, and found that there were two within 7 miles of each other. On will be going along the A14 and the other down the A12. I'm not really sure which to join as I live equidistant between the two.
no danger of medway services being a bit thin,i know at least two fat feckers that will prevent that:laugh:

I'll be there on a red Vara, what you gonna be on? have you got an ABR sticker on?
Did anyone see any motorcycle dealers present or bike manufacturers?
This was my first protest (apart from the elections), i don't think it will have affected much but it was fun and good to know that other people feel strongly and passionately enough to turn up.
Dont have any motorways this far north, but Inverness does have a dual carriageway . . . . . so a rather large group of bikes helped clog that up this pm from Tore to Aviemore.
4 Highlanders helped make up the numbers on the way back from the ABR rally @ Ullapool . . . well, as far as the Moy turnoff we did.
Fantastic turn out, for all the right reasons

It's not the destination . . . . . . . it's the glory of the ride
Best part of the day for me was when our group coincided with another group coming over the Orwell Bridge on the A14 just outside of Ipswich! I will upload photos and video tomorrow
Tiger, Tiger, burning bright... bugger, my bike's on fire!
I will be attending FerryBridge Services on the m62
The demo's made our local news via the TV and radio and there is a picture and some words with the heading: Battle lanes are drawn... in today's (26/09/11) Daily Mirror on page 2.
Was at Ferrybridge Motorway Services (M62) too and what a great turnout, weather held back and let's hope all this hard work pays off...

I came across the group riding on the A14 from Cambs going east as they got pulled over by the Cambs police at the a11/14 split. They claimed the group where causing a tailback, so the pulled them over AT the road divide using the slip lane as a holding area as there was no hardshoulder to use. So, THEY caused an ever greater tailback and near standstill of traffic, by causing moving traffic in the slip lane, to have to stop and then pull out into the middle lane to get round the police blockade. Totally over the top, heavy handed reaction supposedly based on safety.
If another ones run...use all the roads round Cambs and I will join this one.
