Found a nice gentle route including 2 fords(I used the footbridge for these as I did'nt have my waterproofs on,well thats my excuse ) some grass track and some Mudy/gravel tracks .
Took it nice and slow .

You can look round the mill(£2 per person) and buy bread from here(Organic flour from the mill)baked in the bakery on Site(open Sat AM and the Mill Sunday PM)

You should have got your feet wet!

Actually the vehicular status of the ford at Redbournbury is a bit dubious (although I have used it for years and continue to do so!) Although the roads to either side are clearly shown on the List of streets (public highways) there is debate as to whether the ford itself was made a Restricted Byway as it also has a footpath running across it (i.e. the Dual Status = lowest right applies rule). However I, like many hold the view that the footpath runs across the bridges whereas the road runs through the fords, so they are parallel, rather than running over the same route.

So riding over the bridges may constitute an act of Trespass but to be honest I don't know anyone who has ever been challenged there!

Once I get some better tyres I'll be going back and getting wet!
