I agree with the Roadcraft for driving and riding. What I can see - that's why I was in lane 2 as I could then see into the junctions and there are more vehicles coming from the right.
What I can't see- the road was pretty clear and I had the van in view to know he wasn't shadowing another vehicle.
What I reasonably expected - at 21 seconds the orange car appears coming in fast to the junction with the indicator to turn right. If you watch my road position at this point I move to the right within the next 2 seconds to the right of my lane as a reaction to it. It then became stationary and it wasn't what I expected a few seconds later.
Poor timing of the overtake yes probably which put me in the drivers blindspot.
I have held a IAM badge for 10 years but only ridden for 1 year, time to review
Farky - What you don't see is the shock on the guys face and the "Sorry mate" - I simply pointed to my mirror and then my fluro jacket and then a thumbs up.- then said Wanker in my helmet.
Really nice review of the camera, sound and visual.
Glad your safe and had a happy day.
Just wanted to ask the last second your left hand did something
Did you wave politely at him
