Would just like to apologise to the following riders for getting lost so many times
nibby, Felco,Yamart,Sparkton,timcat1069,xr400stupot Sorry guy's, think I'm going to leave Wales to Mr Beddows
Three of the riders deciding to camp Saturday night at Llangollen and meeting us all for breckie at the ponderosa cafe. Good idea camping as Felco and Yamart were going to be a bit late and Nibby's alarm not going off even later
A big thanks to Timcat for letting me have a go on his KTM 690. I won't one now as I think most of us do by the and of the day. (felco especially)
First breakdown of the day and we've not left the cafe .....YAMAHA
Right, I'll get the first trail out of the way and then it's done with
If ya think ya out with ya mates and if anything goes wrong they will come back for ya.
Think Again

But they did say they were about too
After not being able to find the next trail, we set off to the third trail which was very over grown. So we sent Nibby down first for him to come back with a report on if the big bikes would go down it. 10 minutes later no Nibby so we set off thinking all was going to be ok. Wrong, no wonder Nibby wouldn't come back up. Hartbreak Hill he tells us at the bottom
Photo's by Nibby as he was at the bottom and staying there
After that excitement we thought what would be next!!! Stopping at the start of the next trail, a chap came out of a house foaming from the mouth, ranting and raving about trail riders coming past his property and using the trails around him. Think we were understanding until he mentioned about putting cheese wire across the trail
Nibby must of been a hostage negotiator in his past life to calm things down. Respect.
This trail was legal and a track more than a trail. Trail was at Pontfadog going through the forest. Be warned. Trailwise ID: UID SJ2337-01
Here are a few more pic's from the morning trails.
Cheeky Chap
About time a cafe stop at Lake Vyrnwy.
Afternoon trails
We ended up doing a bit of road riding to get back on time through some of the nicest valleys in Wales. Saying goodbye to Timcat Sparkton and xr400stupot as they wanted to get back and pack there tents away and get back before dark

Sorry guy's doesn't time fly in Wales
Back on the tracks, and on to the final trail with the sun setting

Nibby said would I put this photo on of the damage done by Felco running in the back of him.
