This could go in the thread 'my other passion' but its definitely motorcycle related. Every now and then I enter an enduro proper to remind myself how old I'm getting and this weekend I managed to con about eight others into it. It was held on the Materley estate near Winchester by Track n Trail and is one of the best tracks I have ridden, really varied. A few pics taken by my luverly wife: me waving nervously
pit stop.
small bump
and a social after with a bbq and lots of munchies....my version of wild camping
apologies if this is not exactly ABR territory but doing this stuff and stretching my boundaries has rekindled my passion for bikes more than the Sunday afternoon blasts which I had been partaking of.

This thread is relevant, I'll be 49 end of this month. Just bought a bike to have a bash at the very same thing, I literally cant wait to get going and have a few events under my belt. Bit worried about my level of fitness, do members reading this who compete train at all..??

Nice one Herman,
I went along to an Enduro with a few mates today to see what its like.
After watching I think I'm going to join the Cotwolds enduro club and have a go, as it looks a lot more civilized than motocross.

I used to go to watch mates race, something i would like to do at some point. Think one of my mates mate was a member of the Cotswold enduro club?

Did a few years with Costwold enduro club in the slow pete series, enjoyed it even though i was shite and never fit enough to really race, do remember the 8 or 9 pisses just prior to the off though , nerves or what !!

Pic was as good as it ever got, just caught me at the right moment, only one in all the years i plodded round the track

Thanks for the replies folks, results are out and I got a seventh which is my best so far so well chuffed with that and the fact that I was snapping at Clive's heels in sixth. I decided to relax today by building a concrete block wall even my hair aches
