TOPIC: JTH's Scorpion Dual Sport'ster conversion

JTH's Scorpion Dual Sport'ster conversion 2 years, 3 months ago #130316

Just finished this build - converted a 2003 883 HD Sportster into a 1250 Dual-Sport'ster. So, thought id post some pics of it here for the like-minded Adventure riders....

Looks real pretty. Don't think 1250cc's will get very far on that tankload.
Lightness is everything.

Smart, looks fun and nice detail, wouldn't want it laid on me on the right side on a trail though...exhaust..hot hot hot
Chaos is the only camouflage that incompetence needs to operate at full capacity.

I dunno where that road goes, might as well go take a look anyway there's no where else i need to be right now.

Well done mate, I've seen a lot of HD dirt conversions over the years but that's definitely one of the best

Very true - I can only go 100 miles on that tank (not counting the gas in the cannisters). Im on the wait list to have a custom ~5.5 gallon aluminum tank made by Evan Wilcox Hand Formed metal. Goal is a range of 200+ miles per tank.
