So, after 10 long months of "shopping around" (read; procrastination), I finally took the plunge and rode over to Bradford Motorcycles yesterday and bought a pair of Sidi Courier boots for the discounted price of 150-00. It took me so long because I am super fussy about pretty much anything I buy these days - is it an age thing I ask myself?

Anyway, so far, so good (I wore them on the way back home via my brothers for tea). Comfy, well made, nicely finished and constructed (believe me, I know a thing or two about footwear). The only failing is, despite their lining, they did let a little water in. As I said, I know a thing or two about boots and I put this down to the fact they are "welt stitched". So, within the not too distant future, I am going to get some "welt seal" and clart it on all around the exposed stitching around the sole. That should cure it.
