Hi - They are a very cheap and easy bulb replacement (don´t quote me, but I think the xenon bit is the gas used within the bulb chamber). Simple as that. Got mine off an e-bay supplier, but I can´t remember which. As noted, the only thing stopping them getting a 10 rating from me was that bulb fitting wasn´t 100% the same size as the original, making them a little slack in the bulb holder. In 20,000 miles I only had two problems with them winking out - so not a major issue (and then it was on dirt roads). I´ll be doing an overhaul on my bike next month, when I plan to have another look at this.

Hope that helps. - Barcelona Pat

I have a BMW 1200 GSA and have been thinking about fitting Xenon headlights.
Where did you get yours from and how were they fitted?
I'm assuming they just plugged into the original sockets (going by your description) although I have seen others that require a converter box.

Cheers - ollythefrog
