Had one for years,although it's been abused and thrown about it's still work's fine'.Yes the flare up is one to watch out for AND DO NOT USE IN A TENT,
On a bike trip plenty of petrol from the bike to keep you going,just drain some out into the pressure bottle,

Bought it on its reputation for simple reliability, and after faffing around to prime and light it the first time, have had no problems since. Do watch the flare up though, very alarming the first time!

What a great bit of kit! Had mine for going on 6 years and only ever needed one 'o' ring replacing (20p).
Its not the quickest thing to light, having to prime it before you go but once you get into the habit its very easy to do.
Best bits for me are:

Bomb proof reliability (normally lives outside tent in all weathers when on trips)

Genuine multi fuel ability (run mine on white gas, expensive, but normally unleaded)

Can re-fill the bottle at the petrol pump (nozzle fits in it nicely and doesn't cut the pump out)

Ease of cleaning and maintenance

Nozzle changing (depending on fuel) very easy 'in the field'

Very good wind break provided that works well

Mega quick to boil. Would highly recommend a 'Jet boil' pan to go with it, especially if in areas where fuel could be hard to find. They really do considerably reduce boil time and use heat jacket to keep stuff hot whilst cooking other things or leave pasta in hot water to cook itself without the stove, works well!

Bad bits:

Hard to control the flame, so 'delicate' cooking is sometimes difficult.

Lighting it inside a tent is a bit dodgy as 'flare up ' from an over zealous priming could cause a little bonfire

Stove stays alight for maybe 10 seconds after you turn it off as excess fuel is burnt. I guess in an emergency could be problem.

All in all i couldn't happier, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
