The new helmet and jacket lock from Lockstraps is probably one of the most versatile pieces of kit we have seen this year.
It consists of a heavy duty locking carabiner and a double strength webbing, in which runs an 8 braid stainless steel core, which in turn is riveted in place - it is a sturdy piece of kit and a robust theft deterrent. The locking carabiner is a combination lock, so no keys are required and the number can be set easily to your own requirement.
We have been using the Lockstrap for helmets, jackets, soft luggage, as a disc lock (when I forgot mine recently) and we managed to strap two bikes together. We have also been using the Lockstrap for the mountain bikes as they are easy to carry.
They are great if you are on tour, going to race meetings and rallies or have to park up when out for the day.
The Lockstrap Helmet Lock is £22.50 and available at http://www.lockstraps.co.uk/offer/ and as a special offer for ABR readers we are not adding shipping on UK orders.
