After recently selling the race rep and leaving my one piece leathers behind it was time to invest in some decent gore tex gear. This Dainese gear is not cheap but i'm a firm believer in " buy cheap buy twice " so after some research went with the Dainese gear, jacket and bottoms, both gore tex, the jacket actually has gore tex as a layer within the fabric, so you dont have to mess about with a "liner" i like this idea better, that just leaves a thermal liner then which can be removed. Bought Mine second hand. Wow what a jacket excells in everything. A bit weired when you first put air in the inner jacket But boy its makes a difference in the warmth of the Jacket. 100% weatherproof. The inner jacket comes out for summer riding. Armour is very good. Zips are brill too if not a little strange (they do up zipping down) I have the receit when bought new £757 in the sale !!!! I wish I could replace this with a new one but alas I dont have that much money to spend on a jacket. If I did i would deffinaitely buy another. Clothing Review

After getting cold and wet lots of times! I finally (after some research) bought the Rukka Armax suit. So far totally waterproof also as the Goretex is bonded to the fabric the jacket isn't soaked through and you don't the joy of putting a moist clammy goretex liner on!

So far totally waterproof also as the Goretex is bonded to the fabric the jacket isn't soaked through and you don't the joy of putting a moist clammy goretex liner on! Quality is top notch. Whilst I have worn it in the UK it may get overly hot in warmer areas or when you need to do serious bike manhandleing as ventilation is limited. I bought mine from a German company on tinternet and saved myself £400 on UK prices!! It is fantastic but expensive ![]() ...
Yes I agree fantastic stuff! I have to disagree with Ian about buying the suit from Germany though, if you buy from the UK you get a 5 year warranty where you can return the suit to any Rukka stockist if you have a problem and they give you a loan suit until the problem is sorted. If you buy from Germany and you have a problem with the suit you will need to ship the suit back to Germany and wait up to 2 months with no loan suit!
