I rode with a group of friends, altogether 9 bikes to northern parts of Peninsular Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur-Ipoh-Penang-Kedah-Perlis , 500km,(Padang Besar, a Malaysian border town to Thailand). Stayed a night in Perlis, i ( and my wife riding pillion) broke away from the group in Penang, and crossed the Titiwangsa range from the north to the east coast (Kelantan), approximately 450km. I stayed in kelantan for three days, and on the third day, we crossed another highland to Pahang 250km. we stayed a night in Cameron Higland, a tourist spot. and on the final day, we took the highway home, 200km.
a trip of a lifetime for me. humbling experience.
