Six mates off for a bike ride for a week. We do this once a year and allways travel to mainland Europe, last two years Spain. Booked cheap accomadation on the web but not so cheap on exchange rates.
Landed at Le Harve and rode to Arromanches for first night, fantastic area with so much living history, problem was we had to move on to our next stop. I would like to return to this area with camping gear and spend a few days exploring. We spent a total of five nights travelling around Brittany, mainly coastal roads. Lots of very nice Villages & Towns to visit on route. Terrain is less than demanding but worth the visit.
I think it will be back to Spain next year if only for the better riding.
