So this is only my third bike but it's certainly a huge upgrade from my VTX for the long trips that I like to do. I find the bike handles like a dream for a big bike with plenty of torque and a nimbleness I didn't expect in a 600lb tourer. It is super comfortable and extremely dry even when riding in the rain for days on end. Braking performance is outstanding and the ABS is great for critical situations on the interstates. I can't wait to put more and more miles on this toy!!

I hve the DOHC 2010 version it is meant to have a higher bhp but I think only noticeable at the bottom end. The handling and brakes are fantastic for the size of the bike and cope well. Weather protection is a real winner, I am 6.2 and can sit in a pocket of comfort.

For long distance journeys and pottering round the back roads its a dream. It will eat up the miles if you want to get somewhere or you can just enjoy the narrow lanes. I averaged 52 mpg on a 1500 mile trip with a safe full tank range of around 270 miles. By then its time for a coffee or stretch.

It can carry a lot of equipment and Catalina loves the pillion comfort often having a dose.

All in all a fine bike only problem is the price.
