I have owned this bike for 3 years, previously rode sport bikes. I have been very impressed with the handling of this very tall bike. The 19" front limits the flick, but stability is incredible. Throw it in a curve and roll the throttle, touch the brakes, change your line, hit bumps grooves or holes, it's all OK. The bike just goes through it and asks what you want next. The engine is the best twin for the buck. Tons of torque, and goes forever on a tank of fuel. I did the Bear Tooth Hwy with a buddy on a Goldwing, 5 day 2up (with the wives)trip, last summer. All he wanted to do was ride my bike. I out accelerated, braked, wheelied, and when we refueled I had more in my tank left and beat him by $3 at the pumps every time. He has been bragging up that Wing for the past 6 years and now he says he wants to sell the Sofawing and get a Strom.

The bad is small. 19" front limits your tire choices. The brakes are adequit but not great. I can still get it todo a stoppie. A Mastiff bracket is a must for adjusting your airpocket. It's a tall motorcycle so the wind can throw you around a bit. Off road is limitted to what tires you brave to ride on and the rims getting chipped.

I love this bike, perfect for the aging sportrider. I probably won't buy another....this one seams to be indestructible, I won't need to.

I have owned this bike for 5 years. I ride 90% of the time 2 up with my wife. We ride 80% street and 20% off road - from sandy washes to mountain trails with rocks. Always reliable and has always performed as asked to.

had this guy a while and loved improving it
raising links on rear and decent tyres make it feel much better than standard
the madstad brakets for the front screen are brilliant ..must purchase befor playing screen roullette
hagon shock on rear was really good i rate this product on the strom

16 tooth [1 down] made it really move and got the gears closer to gether ..helped the really long 6th o/d too

i got hangars from sv racing parts in the usa and converted the front stoppers to k1 gsxr ....huge improvement

keep it clean ..fender extender and belly pan ..dont allow salt to stay and they hold up better tan some would sugest ..mine was very tidy 25k up
not a lot of negatives on this bike enjoyed it and would lap up vee strom 2 if it ever came to pass
