After some personalizing accessories from the sizable aftermarket, this bike is a keeper. Best all around bike I've ever had, this thing covers a lot of bases.

Very easy to live with, powerful enough for every day use and touring, but could do with a bit more go if fully loaded and 2 up

Standard seat is a must go plank and wind blast above 60ish can be a pain with standard screen, other wise its a cracking bike that I intend to keep for a long time

I rode my F650GS twin almost 4000 miles in just over 3 weeks this year through Eastern Europe via Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany and Holland and it never missed a beat or used a drop of oil! My best buys were the comfort seat I found on ebay,a decent tank bag from Wolfman and excellent goretex waterproof jacket from Hein Gericke! My partner's 1200GS also performed just as wellsmilies/smiley.gif
