Man and bike....relationships are tough! PDF Print E-mail

I have been forgiven, though not without a little reminder that a relationship should be nurtured and that you just can't expect to turn up, turn on and be as excited as before. A failed MOT was my 'silent treatment'. Still, a bit of shopping and it's all good again.

It's been a personally  tough, long seven months with only a couple of ride out's on the KTM. It's not as if I've experienced some degree of enlightenment but as the day's get longer and warmer I can't help feeling happier when I think about getting out on the bike. Particularly as the 'DC' bike club has a trip planned to the Alps again (AKA Jason, Alun and Magnum).

I have a few issues on the KTM to sort out and if anyone out there has experienced a 'moment' from a nasty speed wobble when coming OFF the gas (panniers loaded but fairly equally weighted) please let me know if you found a remedy.

Time to start planning a few rides.........

Cheers Al, feels good to be back on the site and it looks good too. Time to get back into a few things! The KTM failed on a binding front brake, my fault really, should have checked first.

Looking at replacing my helmet, might have to go for touring Arai......trés nice!
