Tomorrow is National Ride to Work Day in the UK as part of the Motorcycle Industry Association (MCIA)-backed National Motorcycle Week. The celebration of motorcycling for a week was created to inspire and inform potential new riders and encourage them to take their first step onto two wheels – and to involve enthusiastic fellow bikers in the process.

But it’s also about encouraging those who already ride to explore the varied and exciting world of powered two wheelers. And with that in mind, BMW Off Road Skills is offering to help enable riders of all experience levels to discover the world of off-road motorcycling with a £50 discount on any Level 1-3 course booked by Friday.

The courses are based in the stunning Brecon Beacons. Expert instructors, led by Dakar legend Simon Pavey, run a variety of courses which teach the skills and techniques required to ride off-road in the fantastic 4,000-acre Walters Arena in Wales.

Simon Pavey, Chief Instructor at BMW Off Road Skills, said: “National Motorcycle Week is a great idea. Anyone who loves motorcycles should be helping to encourage the next generation of riders and try new things themselves. And it’s not just about road riding. Riding off-road is a fantastic way to build your confidence, refine your machine control and – above all – have fun on a bike.”
